Founded by Serge Borenstein and Federico Díaz, So Concrete is pushing innovation. 3D printing robot uses concrete to build sustainably and in the most remote places. Our team was asked to create visuals and video. We joined the process right in the beginning, and we could shape what message the visuals should have.

The link to nature has been strong – a small robot that can print a bridge over rocks in the middle of a national park or a tram stop quickly without any disruption. We used sand, slag, and water (materials used for the concrete) as a headstone for the CG environments.

In the next stage, we focus on visuals that show the technology and the printing itself. In the laboratory, you can see different pigments, shapes, and other possibilities.

Two-year cooperation stands out as it allows us to explore CG possibilities further outside of archviz. We have found a shared passion with the clients and can’t wait for another challenge.
