It’s always a pleasure to get an excuse to visit Bratislava: taking some pictures and meeting up with friends at Sadovsky Architects. Thus, this project was a delight. This competition proposal is a striking pair of residential buildings in the environs of Kuchajda swimming lake. From the beginning, we decided we wanted to fill these visualizations with life.

From swans gliding gracefully across the water, to the lush grass, to the terraces of the building itself, rich with greenery. Strong metal facade shows off its impressive structure in sharp lighting, shimmers with playful gradients in the soft, and creates a powerful silhouette through the winter haze.
