ER for Brno Teaching Hospital by ohboi studio

Ohboi studio designed a place to save lives. The teaching hospital in Brno will have a new emergency department. The extension is simple, with curtain walls and shutters accented by red-colored concrete.

We had all the freedom we needed to tell the ER story. Our team decided to put the design of the building aside and focus on how it will function. We portrayed spacious parking for visitors, an access point for incoming ambulances, and several bridges that secure connection to the original parts of the hospital.
