Qarta Architektura is one of the partners with whom we started our journey before monolot existed. Jan, co-founder and art director of monolot, was still a freelancer when he first met the architects from QA at the end of 2018.
Five years of collaboration, five years of trust
From the first project almost five years ago, we are now at 40 (but probably more). Having a stable client that you can consider your partner is always based on more than just mutual satisfaction. Sure, it’s great that we deliver selected cameras that the architects love, but it wouldn’t be possible to build a partnership without a good relationship with the people.

Flexibility on both sides
Any close and long-term cooperation goes hand in hand with open communication and flexibility. Could we have the same flexible approach with every client? We would like to, but it is not possible. Architects from Qarta deliver a wide range of projects: interiors, large urban developments, sports stadiums, administrative buildings… so we have no time to get comfortable. They constantly push us to do good work under tight deadlines with less than ideal support files. From our side, this means that they usually only see the final image, not a preview.

Studio, as a monolot, can afford to love this approach with one, maximum two clients. But they are crucial and essential, and every moment is a great experience. Qarta Architektura has over 25 years of experience, and we humbly learn while they openly listen to what we have to say. And it works. Together we present their ambitious designs and we know that we have each other’s backs. Five years of collaboration and five years of trust.
