We asked four team members to choose their favorite monolot project from the past year and a half. They decided with their hearts and creative minds. Have a look at what Lukas, Adam, Olha, and Hugo picked!

“This project reminded me of sketching classes I had when I was an architecture student. Our assignment was to draw different boxes in different compositions. To this day, it represents the purest form of architecture for me – clusters of simple volumes.
I love the concept of the project – my team mates were able to play with the camera angles and just focus on the environment, how the design fits in and how it reacts to different lighting and atmospheres.
The set works well together, which is what I always try to achieve when leading or working on a project.”

“So Concrete is my favorite project because it’s different and definitely not a typical task in the archviz studio.
Each of our projects is beautiful in its own way, but So Concrete represents the “freedom” of creativity and imagination for me. The guys who worked on this surprised me with their amazing results. Such projects give a fresh breath of air, and it doesn’t matter whether you personally worked on such a project or your colleagues.
So concrete is all about construction, concrete, and technology but that is not the main element of the final visual set. Each image feels special, and it had its own atmosphere. Thanks to different lighting and different locations my mood changes and sounds arise in my head with each picture. When I look at the image with sand, I hear the wind that sweeps there and brings the sand into the air while the robots continue to work. The forest one carries me to a quieter, secluded place where all the construction is more calm. Can you feel and imagine that with me?
These renders literally seem to come to life in front of me and give me all sorts of experiences. And that is the point of our work as visual artists – to make people feel and experience certain emotions.“

“I admire the calmness. The simplicity of the design and the visualisations is ultimately what inspires me most. No windows, no decorative and meaningless elements. There is no noise and that really appeals to me. The water is a basic element and it brings serenity. The green colour of the buildings complements the nature and the clear sky. And the cameras enhance the shapes of the buildings.
The volumetric simplicity is underlined by the dynamism of the metal coins. They bring movement, but in a way that feels almost like leaves in the crowns of trees. Whenever I see this set, the harmony of the colours, the absence of decorative elements and people, and the overall simplicity, I feel a great sensation.”

“Choosing my favorite project was not an easy task. But then winter is coming and this project spoke to me with the cold mountain atmosphere. I admire how Patrik worked with photorealism. Authentically visualizing the winter environment is not an easy task, and I am always looking for new inspiration on how to do it. The combination of colors is natural, you really have to look closely to see where the render ends and the photo begins. I really hope to get the chance to work on a winter project with a lot of snow – I am really excited to overcome this challenge.”
