Case study: Organica by CONTERA Management

A partnership is the best ship. One of our values was fully realized while working on ORGANICA by CONTERA Management. We joined the forces and cooperated with the brand & graphic studio, and together with an open-minded client, we created a brand that stands out. How? Read the case study!

 

  • Contera management needed a complex presentation for Organica Business center designed by Schindler Seko Architects.

  • The original set of 6 images has been expanded to a CG video and a 360-degree panorama.

CONTERA Management specializes, among other things, in the conversion of abandoned or unutilized brownfields to fully functional areas. This time, they have been entrusted with the booming area of Karolina in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Organica Business center is designed by Schindler Seko, and its organic shape catches every eye.

Problem:

A previously forgotten piece of land next to a new shopping center and the first future skyscraper in the city. This place needed a complex presentation. How to show a project that greatly influences how an area will function? 

Contera management knew they needed to become different from other noticeable buildings in the area. They needed to create a brand and visual identity that would stick.

Solution:

On the first meeting with Contera management, we found out that their approach is comprehensive – the creative studio VKONTEXTU had been working on the brand identity, and we immediately understood that this client needs more than static CG images. We offered multiple formats and started communicating with VKONTEXTU’s Art Director, Ondrej Vala. The whole cooperation has been fruitful and very lively. Imagine a bunch of creative minds from different branches working together – what a joyful ride. 

Together we came up with the idea to enhance the website header with a CG video. Contera management loved that and decided to expand the set of 6 images to a 35-second-long animation. We aimed for a versatile video so that it could be cut into smaller snippets, e.g., for social media purposes.

Results:

As a result, we created 6 images, 1 video, and a 360-degree panorama. The graphic & brand studio VKONTEXTU then used all our outcomes to create a comprehensive presentation – website, brand manual, and overall communication strategy. During the project, all the parties became partners. We were bringing ideas about the future website or marketing materials. VKONTEXTU team had been giving us creative consultation on the video storyline and images, and Contera management consulted what they feel will work best.

Conclusion:

The Organica brand has broad aspects, and since we worked with the brand studio from the beginning, we could incorporate those aspects into our images and video. The video for Contera management is also the first reference for CG videos for a development project. We gained satisfied clients and learned how intensive and unique cooperation with a creative studio could be. We presented the outcomes with a year hold-up and still received fantastic feedback on our social media channels.
